New Environmental Education Programs for Teachers!

If you are a teacher who wants to provide multi-discplinary, hands-on environmental lessons for your students, this blog is for you! Hosted by the San Jacinto Center for Environmental Education, this will be a place to find out information about field trips, special events, and to post your comments on environmental education topics.

The San Jacinto Center for Environmental Education is dedicated to the environmental and cultural education of students, grades K-12. We work with school districts to bring children into the field for hands-on programs, developing a interdisciplinary curriculum that meets California State Content Standards.

We work closely with university students and scientists who are interested in doing research on local plant species and wildlife. Additionally, we offer weekend walks to the general public, September through June.

Our public school educational programs are available Monday-Friday, September through May.
Contact us now to schedule your field trip for the 2006-2007 school year.
